Whether the temps are in the 70s, 80s, 90, - or more! - Summer is here!  And with it comes the dangers of staying in the sun too long.  Avon has introduced some great new sun products to not only protect your skin from the sun's harmful rays but to REPAIR the sun damage as well.  

Anew Solar Advance Face Lotion (SPF 45) and Body Lotion (SPF 30) were introduced in Campaign 10.  They are the first sun care line from  Avon's Anew skincare  with RepairShield Technology TM .   In vitro test shows 50% repair of skin cell sun damage in 24 hours.  It is lightweight, quick-absorbing, very water-resistant, and provides broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection. 

Coming in Campaign 15 is the introduction of Anew Solar Advance Sunscreen Body Mist (SPF 28) for quick, easy application.  (July 5)

Concealer/Foundation Confusion

• The real key is to start with a moisturized face.....dab concealer sparingly (don't worry about blending - it IS concealer after all!).....apply your foundation.   Don't put concealer over mineral powder or cream-to-powder makeup.  Actually, don't put concealer OVER any foundation -- it belongs UNDER!

Wrong Foundation Shade

• Color match to your jawbone, not your hand -- your hand skin is always darker than your facial skin!!

Excessive Concealer

• You don't need a lot and PLEASE match it to your skin tone!!  White is alright but too much will make you look like a racoon in reverse.l

Heavy-Handed Eyeliner

• It's NOT in style!  Don't ring your eyes excessively --- instead, focus on using attractive colors in a flattering way....it should all BLEND!

Over-Frosted Eye Shadow

• A bit of shimmer under the brows, a touch on the lid....pretty effects but covering your eyelind from tom to bottom with unblended eyeshadow is unattractive.  Go easy on the frosting!

Dry Face

• Cleanse your face and then moisturize -- morning and night!  It will make your makeup smooth and silky looking -- not to mention the benefits your skin will get from it!

Wacky Eyebrows

• Over penciled or super thin eyebrows.....or furry caterpillars --- neither one is attractive.  If you are unsure, ask a professional stylist or cruise the 'net -- you'll find great instructions on keeping your  "eye frames" looking good!

Dark Lip Liner

• Another has-been trend -- your liner should be as close to your lip color as possible!

Blending Your Makeup

• Buy a cosmetic sponge and blend, blend, blend!   It's even better is you are applying your makeup with a sponge (not your fingers) to get a more even blend!

Mascara Marks

• Get after them immediately!  If you let it dry it won't come off easily.  Use a Q-Tip to help so you don't just end up smearing it more.
